NHR 9300-600 High-Voltage Battery Test System

The NH Research 9300-600 High-Voltage Battery Test System is a high-performance, fully programmable DC source that can serve as both a charger and a regenerative DC load. This system, designed for the tough needs of the automotive, aerospace, energy, and industrial sectors, has been recognized for its flexibility and reliability by OEMs, Tier 1-3 manufacturers, universities, government agencies, and test laboratories across the world.

The NHR 9300-600 has a stable power rating of 600 kW, and it can manage a maximum current of ±1002A at 1200V and 1998A at 600V. It excels in providing a varied variety of power and voltage applications because to its dual voltage range of 600V and 1200V, which can manage both lesser and bigger power requirements within a single platform. This modular system can be expanded from 100kW to an incredible 2.4MW with additional 100kW cabinets that can be synchronized in simultaneously to boost power and current capacity as needed.

With its 1-MS/S digitization of analog signals and precision measurement capabilities, this sophisticated test system allows real-time monitoring of voltage, current, amp-hours, and watt-hours. Because these measurements give synchronized, high-resolution data that can be downloaded or accessed for more in-depth study, they are essential for evaluating battery state. To ensure safe and effective operation, the 9300-600 continuously checks performance metrics, such as heat-sink temperature, grid frequency, and under/over-range situations. In order to protect against operational anomalies, programmable trip limits, an interlock input, an emergency power-off switch, and a remote power-off input are implemented. These characteristics isolate the unit under test (UUT) and swiftly stop power as necessary.

The NHR 9300-600 has several control options and is built for completely autonomous operation. Users can use NI tools like LabVIEW or VeriStand, create bespoke software with IVI or SCPI, or use complete battery test software packages like NI's BTS or NHR's Enerchron.
